New project

**EDIT** I am tweaking this idea a bit. I have bought some TORKA balls from IKEA. I have spray painted them matte white and then used a spray adhesive to get them tacky. Then I poured some of Martha Stewarts glitter into a large one gallon zip lock bag. After spraying the balls and letting them dry for about 30 seconds I dropped them into he bag of glitter and let my four year old shake it up. The outcome was not too shabby. They are drying as I type. I don't care much for the snowy/flaky looking glitter. I stuck to using the finer glitter as that seemed to cover better. I'll take a pic when they are done drying. I think the combo of glittery balls, frames and some sparkly birds and twigs I bought will be fantastic. And this year I am all about the shimmer.**END EDIT**

Christmas is fast approaching and I have decided on a theme for my tree in our new home. What better way to celebrate a new life for our family than photos of our life up until now. Here is my inspiration and I can't wait! We'll see how it goes. This is a short note since my home needs a good cleaning. Hope everyone is enjoying their week.

  1. I hope you enjoy gazing at your tree, once it is all put together! I just learned that the type of glitter you are referring to is called 'Mica Flakes'. It is a holiday staple!
